The quality of the hoses designed for the Nutone central vacuum cleaners surpasses that of most of their competitors, this fact being revealed by several distinctive features such as their full rotation swivels or their tangle reduction designs. Measuring anything between 25 and 50 feet, all these accessories, whether electric, basic, low voltage or stretch, are affordable yet also very quick, resistant and versatile.
First of all, the electric hoses from Nutone come in two versions, namely a corded one, which can be identified with the CH310, CH335, CH515 or CH520 hoses, and a direct connect one, which can be encountered with the CH510, CH615 and CH620 hose models. Both can be fitted into inlets 1.4 to 1.5 inches wide. Pleasant to touch, lightweight and easy to use, these two types of hoses are designed to protect their users’ health with their ergonomic handles and feature 360-degree swivels as well as switch controls, the airflow they release also being adjustable. Thus, their performance is about 27% higher than that of older vacuum hoses. Covered by two-year warranties and supplied with 30-day satisfaction guarantees, these central vacuum hoses provide excellent cleaning results for years in a row.
The low voltage Nutone hoses, on the other hand, are more convenient for they do not require any electricity to pull in the dirt. In fact, they are very similar to the basic hoses manufactured by Nutone, but feature an additional low voltage wire which controls the suction. These accessories equipped with either a locking nipple or a friction fit are a perfect match for power heads and compatible with all the other Nutone accessories, but they are usually sold separately. Otherwise, they share a lot of their features with their electric counterparts.
As for the basic hoses made by Nutone, they abide by the modern principles of hose manufacturing in that their diameters are wider than those of older hoses for more suction. Moreover, their interior is much smoother. Also crushproof, easy to use and lightweight, these hoses feature a metal end, are 27% more efficient than older hoses, 25 to 50 feet long and can be fitted into inlets 1.4 to 1.5 inches wide, just like the other hoses in the Nutone catalog.
Finally, the collection of Nutone hoses includes a series of stretch and extension models which provide added convenience. The 7-foot long stretch hoses can be extended to a maximum length of 30 feet and provide an ideal solution for cleaning mudrooms, bathrooms or any other places attacked by pests and bugs very fast. These accessories weigh no more than 5 pounds and are very easy to store, use and retrieve. The extension hoses also increase the cleaning radius by stretching an additional 12 feet. Thus, they can be used to reach anywhere around garages, back rooms, stairs, cars or basement corners.
