If you don't see your vacuum filter manufacturer, please call us

Vacuum Filters are important in the vacuum cleaning process to not only keep your vacuum running efficiently and at top performance; but also to keep your air clean by eliminating pollen in the air and on surfaces, decreasing the risk of allergic reactions.

It is important when changing your filter, to have the correct vacuum filter for your vacuum.  This because, care must be taken not to use too strong a vacuum suction that the filter paper rips; in which case all the dust will be lost back into the atmosphere.  Therefore, you should always use the recommended filters for your vacuum cleaner and follow the manufacturer’s direction when changing them.  If you cannot find the filters recommended, please do not hesitate to contact us.

In a residential setting, the HEPA filter may last two or three years before it needs to be changed.  However; also, if there is a musty odor detected when your vacuum is in use, the HEPA filter should be changed.  If your system has a carbon pre-filter, these should be changed every two to three years.  If the filter or the housing holding the filter is ever damaged, the filter should be changed.  Some vacuums have a pre-filter designed to capture large particulates; these should be checked or changed every three to four months.
