Cana-Vac LS-650 Power Unit

The Cana-Vac Signature LS-650 central vacuum cleaner meets those standards too as part of the Signature series launched with homeowners with high cleaning demands in mind.
The Cana-Vac Signature LS-650 central vacuum cleaner banks on the performance of a powerful Tangential bypass motor, as does the entire series of central vacuum cleaners it is part of. Specially designed to stand up to the challenges of heavy-duty applications, this type of motor comes in a 5.7-inch version and produces 128 inches of water lift – less than its predecessor, the LS-550 model –, but compensates through a suction power of 525 air watts. However, it manages to deliver this performance at the expense of very little noise, sharing the quiet operation mode with all the other Cana-Vac appliances. Part of this quiet operation mode is due to the cooling intake muffler, which ensures the circulation of fresh air throughout the system during use, thus preventing the risk of overheating as well and extending the life expectancy of the motor implicitly. The dirty and heated exhaust is pushed to the outside along with impurities in the air, which leads us to the performance the Signature LS-650 vacuum cleaner in terms of filtration.
Similarly to its predecessor, the Cana-Vac Signature LS-550 central vacuum cleaner aims at those maximum quality standards by marrying a powerful heavy-duty Tangential motor with an excellently performing HEPA filtration system. As those familiar with the vacuuming industry already know, HEPA filters are acknowledged to reach efficiency rates as high as 99.97% against allergens of all sorts measuring down to 0.3 microns in size, thus providing unmatched protection levels for their users. Homeowners who opt for the LS-650 central vacuum cleaner can choose to use it with or without a filter bag, depending on their personal preferences, the appliance being designed as a hybrid one for increased convenience. The traditional three-pack allergen bags are provided by the manufacturer along with the appliance. All the allergens and impurities collected by the HEPA filters are stored in a large dirt container similar to the one available with the LS-550 central vacuum cleaner, namely with a maximum retention capacity of 19 liters, the equivalent of 5 gallons.
