The Electrolux electric central vacuum hose is available in a 35-foot size only. Choose between a pigtail or direct connection. This Electrolux New Style hose features a comfort-style handle that allows for easy maneuverability. This also includes a one-way switch for the users' convenience of turning the carpet nozzle on and off. We recommend a hose sock for added protection. Not only will it protect your hose, it will also protect your baseboards, furniture, and floor from dings, scrapes, nicks and more.

What Is a Hose Sock?
The Electrolux/Aerus Electric Central Vacuum Hose (New Style) is available in a 35-foot size only.
To properly utilize the hose, just insert the end of the hose into the wall inlet and the metal connection on the end of the hose completes the low voltage circuit turning the central vacuum on. As soon as the hose is inserted, you have suction. Removal of the hose will cause the central vacuum to stop.
This hose is available in two different connections:
Pigtail or Direct Connection
Pigtail Connection: This standard inlet is the most common type used in 99% of all homes today. If you are going to be using an electric power (carpet) nozzle, you will have to plug the 6 ft. pigtail cord into a nearby110-volt outlet.
Direct Connection: These inlets requires low voltage and a 110 voltage Romex wire when installing under new construction. The hose used for this inlet will have low voltage signal and also have 2 prongs on top of the hose when pushed in at the same time will then activate your carpet nozzle. Style CI358
These basic central vacuum hoses come built in with an air relief valve in the handle. This allows for maximum cleaning power or decrease the suction for the most delicate of fabrics such as oriental, area and throw rugs, curtains, drapes, and upholstery! All basic hoses come with a secure button lock system opposed to a friction fit.
For additional hose protection, make sure to purchase a hose sock.
