NuTone VX550 Bagged Central Vacuum System
The Nutone VX550 is a powerful central vacuum unit with 550 air-watts of suction power designed to perform in small to large type homes, up to 8,000 square feet. Manufactured with convenient installation in mind, it is equipped with left or right hand dual intake ports. This makes new or retrofit installations simple. With a space saving 11.5" diameter profile, the central vacuum tank can fit into the tightest of corners.
The VX550 power unit from Nutone has a powerful 2 stage motor designed with precision engineering. This extra power allows for deep cleaning far better then conventional vacuums. Quality was not sacrificed for cosmetic details. The noise from the Nutone VX550 is greatly reduced with its advanced sound suppression system design. The Nutone VX550 comes with a long 4 year factory warranty.
The Nutone VX550 has a convenient, sleek, wall hugging design that's sure to accommodate any decor. This series of Nutone VX Central vacuums are far quieter then other older technology used in older central vacuum design. This power unit is more powerful and convenient then previous central vacuum systems that came before it. There is a status light on the hose handle and on the power unit to give you indication remotely that the bag is full and needs to be emptied.

The VX550C is a bagless system that holds 7 Gallons.

- Oversized debris pail handles make for quick and easy pail removal.
- Extra large eight gallon filter bag with self closing collar, minimizes exposure to dust and dirt when changing the replaceable bag. Typically needs changing only every 6 months!
- Dual vacuum air intakes allow for connecting to the trunk line from the right side, left side or both.
